WVHTCF Announces 2015 - 2016 ALC

FAIRMONT, W.Va. March 20, 2015 The West Virginia High Technology Consortium (WVHTC) Foundation announced today the 2015-2016 Affiliate Leadership Council (ALC). The ALC is an advisory board of five appointed and four elected representatives that serve as the voice of the affiliate companies of the High Tech Foundation. They identify key issues facing the affiliate members and also explore strategies for business development and growth. Some of the key agenda items are: health insurance, education, workforce development, and entrepreneurial programs to support new businesses in the area.

The WVHTC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Fairmont, W.Va., functioning as an engine of economic change for growing a statewide and regional high-tech business sector.  The Foundation has established a multi-faceted approach to maximize economic growth, including emphasis on business infrastructure, research and development, and commercialization and workforce development.
